March 17 (Bloomberg) — The European Union said it recommends more controls on agricultural products from Japan following the radiation leaks from the Fukushima nuclear-power plant.

The EU has “limited trade” in agricultural produce from Japan, European Commission spokesman Frederic Vincent told reporters in Brussels today.
