Our world is imperfect. Every family has a skeleton in the cupboard;
the history of any country has pages to be thoroughly and carefully studied by professional historians. But not infrequently politicians interfere in this business. They do not care about the historical truth itself; what they seek for is a scandal, “historic” grounds to justify their own improper actions. Politicians do not need historians – they need propagandists who would create a fancy lie masked as truth.
